Join the Hammond Public Library in collaboration with Gibson Woods Nature Preserve for a StoryWalk. The ½ mile red trail features pages and activities from a book that fits the season for families to enjoy in celebration of the nature and exploration. This season's book is The Flower Thief by Alice Hemming, and will run from April 1 - June 7 (weather pending.) Gibson Woods Nature Preserve is open Tuesdays - Sundays, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Grades 6th-12th: Come get crafty and show off your imagination! This month, we'll be designing our own block prints and inking them onto fabric patches. You can use yours as decoration in your home, or learn how to sew a patch onto a jacket for a DIY aesthetic!
