Read Along the Path

Join the Hammond Public Library in collaboration with Gibson Woods Nature Preserve for a StoryWalk. The ½ mile red trail features pages and activities from a book that fits the season for families to enjoy in celebration of the nature and exploration. This season's book is The Flower Thief by Alice Hemming, and will run from April 1 - June 7 (weather pending.) Gibson Woods Nature Preserve is open Tuesdays - Sundays, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Event Details

Do you want to learn how to make fun projects with a sewing machine?  Teens grades 6-12 can come and learn the basics of a sewing machine and make a project to take home.  All supplies provided.  Registration is preferred due to limited space and supplies.  This program will be first come first served.
