Join the Hammond Public Library in collaboration with Gibson Woods Nature Preserve for a StoryWalk. The ½ mile red trail features pages and activities from a book that fits the season for families to enjoy in celebration of the nature and exploration. This season's book is The Flower Thief by Alice Hemming, and will run from April 1 - June 7 (weather pending.) Gibson Woods Nature Preserve is open Tuesdays - Sundays, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Join the Youth Services staff in an egg hunt, Easter crafts, and take a photo with the Easter Bunny (arrival 10:30 am).
Only egg hunt supplies are limited, egg hunt participants are on first-come, first-served basis.
