Read Along the Path

Join the Hammond Public Library in collaboration with Gibson Woods Nature Preserve for a StoryWalk. The ½ mile red trail features pages and activities from a book that fits the season for families to enjoy in celebration of the nature and exploration. This season's book is The Flower Thief by Alice Hemming, and will run from April 1 - June 7 (weather pending.) Gibson Woods Nature Preserve is open Tuesdays - Sundays, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Event Details

Join the Youth Services Librarians in looking for Sprinkles the elf around the Youth Services department. Each time a child helps the Youth Services librarian find Sprinkles they'll receive a ticket for a drawing. The winners will be drawn after the December holiday closures.
