Read Along the Path

Join the Hammond Public Library in collaboration with Gibson Woods Nature Preserve for a StoryWalk. The ½ mile red trail features pages and activities from a book that fits the season for families to enjoy in celebration of the nature and exploration. This season's book is The Flower Thief by Alice Hemming, and will run from April 1 - June 7 (weather pending.) Gibson Woods Nature Preserve is open Tuesdays - Sundays, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

“EVERY STEP WE TAKE, YOU WILL BE THERE” FUNDRAISER

5K WALK/RUN

 

Come join us in getting healthy and having fun

We will be walking/running 5 Kilometers (3.1 Miles). The Course will be open for 3 hours, so you can walk or run at your own pace. There will be 4 Categories of Participants:

· Middle School through High School 

· 20’s through 40’s

· 50’s through 60’s

· 70’s and Up

 

A great opportunity to walk and talk with your neighbors, while boosting your Cardio and building good health.
