Join the Hammond Public Library in collaboration with Gibson Woods Nature Preserve for a StoryWalk. The ½ mile red trail features pages and activities from a book that fits the season for families to enjoy in celebration of the nature and exploration. This season's book is The Flower Thief by Alice Hemming, and will run from April 1 - June 7 (weather pending.) Gibson Woods Nature Preserve is open Tuesdays - Sundays, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Linda worked as the library’s Public Information Coordinator for over 20 years. Catching the genealogy bug over 40 years ago, she is currently president of South Suburban Genealogical & Historical Society, as well as being involved with Unclaimed Persons since 2009.
