Join the Hammond Public Library in collaboration with Gibson Woods Nature Preserve for a StoryWalk. The ½ mile red trail features pages and activities from a book that fits the season for families to enjoy in celebration of the nature and exploration. This season's book is The Flower Thief by Alice Hemming, and will run from April 1 - June 7 (weather pending.) Gibson Woods Nature Preserve is open Tuesdays - Sundays, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Join Teen Librarian Darby and delve into a world where adventurers must hunt for rare food items to gain experience - and possibly even combat. Every other week will be a different adventure, with the chance for previous players to level up and new players to jump right in! Suitable for players of all experience.
