Read Along the Path

Join the Hammond Public Library in collaboration with Gibson Woods Nature Preserve for a StoryWalk. The ½ mile red trail features pages and activities from a book that fits the season for families to enjoy in celebration of the nature and exploration. This season's book is The Flower Thief by Alice Hemming, and will run from April 1 - June 7 (weather pending.) Gibson Woods Nature Preserve is open Tuesdays - Sundays, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Next Scholar Up!, is partnering with Community Education Empowerment Foundation (CEEF) and the Hammond Library to offer a Homework Help Clinic for children ages 5–12. This clinic would provide support in math and reading, as well as general homework assistance, in a safe, encouraging, and structured environment.
