Join us as the nonprofit The Lincoln Special will be discussing the Lincoln Funeral Train that visited Hammond on May 1, 1865, and the lasting legacy of the Gettysburg Address.

There will also be a brief presentation of The Lincoln Special’s mission to follow.

Residents of Hammond and the surrounding areas are welcome to attend this free symposium!

This statewide tour traces the original rail line of the Lincoln Funeral Train.
