Read Along the Path

Join the Hammond Public Library in collaboration with Gibson Woods Nature Preserve for a StoryWalk. The ½ mile red trail features pages and activities from a book that fits the season for families to enjoy in celebration of the nature and exploration. This season's book is The Flower Thief by Alice Hemming, and will run from April 1 - June 7 (weather pending.) Gibson Woods Nature Preserve is open Tuesdays - Sundays, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Event Details

Santa is coming to town!  Kids ages 0-13 can come and have a photo taken with Santa and stay for cookies and cocoa.  We will be happy to take your photos so be sure to bring your camera or phone.  This is a drop-in program.  Each group will have 5 minutes with Santa.  Last group will be admitted at 6:30 pm.
