Read Along the Path

Join the Hammond Public Library in collaboration with Gibson Woods Nature Preserve for a StoryWalk. The ½ mile red trail features pages and activities from a book that fits the season for families to enjoy in celebration of the nature and exploration. This season's book is The Flower Thief by Alice Hemming, and will run from April 1 - June 7 (weather pending.) Gibson Woods Nature Preserve is open Tuesdays - Sundays, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Join Miss Amanda in discovering your inner engineer. Use our Legos, Lincoln Logs, magnetic tiles, and more to build whatever you can think of during this hour of exploratory free play. This program is limited to 30 children and is on a first-come, first-served basis.
