Join the Hammond Public Library in collaboration with Gibson Woods Nature Preserve for a StoryWalk. The ½ mile red trail features pages and activities from a book that fits the season for families to enjoy in celebration of the nature and exploration. This season's book is The Flower Thief by Alice Hemming, and will run from April 1 - June 7 (weather pending.) Gibson Woods Nature Preserve is open Tuesdays - Sundays, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Turn your favorite images into beautiful artwork with this easy DIY project. In this craft, you'll print your chosen pictures on regular computer paper and adhere them to a canvas using Mod Podge, resulting in a glossy, durable canvas photo.
