Read Along the Path

Join the Hammond Public Library in collaboration with Gibson Woods Nature Preserve for a StoryWalk. The ½ mile red trail features pages and activities from a book that fits the season for families to enjoy in celebration of the nature and exploration. This season's book is The Flower Thief by Alice Hemming, and will run from April 1 - June 7 (weather pending.) Gibson Woods Nature Preserve is open Tuesdays - Sundays, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Grades 6th-12th: Come join us for a special Gamers Guild celebrating May Day!  May Day (May 1st) is a holiday celebrating workers' rights and organizations.  To celebrate, this month we'll be playing Bloc by Bloc, a collaborative strategy game where we roleplay as students, workers, and neighbors working together to improve our city.
