Read Along the Path

Join the Hammond Public Library in collaboration with Gibson Woods Nature Preserve for a StoryWalk. The ½ mile red trail features pages and activities from a book that fits the season for families to enjoy in celebration of the nature and exploration. This season's book is The Flower Thief by Alice Hemming, and will run from April 1 - June 7 (weather pending.) Gibson Woods Nature Preserve is open Tuesdays - Sundays, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

From now until June 1st our focus in these crochet classes will be on creating granny squares. Prior knowledge of holding the crochet hook and working yarn, as well as tension will be required. 

All supplies provided! Perfect for adults and teens who want to further their knowledge from the basic straight-line stitches.
