The VITA Program 

IRS trained and certified volunteers give free tax assistance to payers whose household income is less than $65,000. We prepare & file your federal and state income tax returns at no cost to you.  

This program provides basic computer lessons for people who desire classroom computer instruction.

Join Miss Allison for a story, songs, movement, and play to help your little one's mind grow!

Join us at Deep River County Park for a tour and learn how we get maple syrup from trees.  Registration is for all attendees 3 and up.  

Join Miss Tess for a fun, hands-on storytime! This program is designed for children with all ability levels. We will interact and learn through stories, songs, activities and most importantly dramatic play at the end.

Join Miss Amanda in celebrating March Madness! Make a sporty keychain and rubber bouncing ball.

Grades: K-5th

Wear your pajamas and bring your stuffed animal to storytime for bedtime stories, songs and rhymes.

Leave your stuffie with us so they can have a fun sleepover in the library! Pick them up the next day and see what they got up to!

Always wanted to try crochet? Join us for this beginner-friendly stitching program! We’ll start with the basics: learn how to hold the crochet hook and working yarn, as well as how to create your first chains.

Join Special Collections Manager Amanda Aguilera for a genealogy open lab program that allows patrons to utilize HPL's online genealogy resources, such as Ancestry.com and Family Search.

This program will provide basic computer classes for patrons who would like to learn more advanced computer skills.

A computer class that focuses on teaching Microsoft 365 productivity software, formerly known as Office 365. These classes focus teaching Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Publisher, and other basic Microsoft office programs.
