Read Along the Path

Join the Hammond Public Library in collaboration with Gibson Woods Nature Preserve for a StoryWalk. The ½ mile red trail features pages and activities from a book that fits the season for families to enjoy in celebration of the nature and exploration. This season's book is The Flower Thief by Alice Hemming, and will run from April 1 - June 7 (weather pending.) Gibson Woods Nature Preserve is open Tuesdays - Sundays, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Event Details

Ages 12-18.  Come get crafty with us and show off your imagination! This month, we’ll be upgrading our self-care routine and making snowflake-shaped bath bombs, colorful balls that fizz and release moisturizing oils and delicious scents in the bath.
