Read Along the Path

Join the Hammond Public Library in collaboration with Gibson Woods Nature Preserve for a StoryWalk. The ½ mile red trail features pages and activities from a book that fits the season for families to enjoy in celebration of the nature and exploration. This season's book is The Flower Thief by Alice Hemming, and will run from April 1 - June 7 (weather pending.) Gibson Woods Nature Preserve is open Tuesdays - Sundays, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Event Details

Ages 12-18: This month in Creative Minds, we'll be making zines, DIY mini-books made to be shared among friends.  We'll learn a few quick and easy ways to make zines, then create and trade our own.  Come get crafty and learn some basic bookbinding techniques!
