Ages 12-18: According to legend, conductors on the Underground Railroad used quilts to transmit secret codes to people escaping slavery.  While this theory has been debunked by historians, quilting is still an important art form in African-American history.  Join us to assemble (paper) quilt blocks and learn about the symbols hidden in traditional quilt patterns!
